DACIO 300 - Serial UART Input / Output Micro Processor Unit (MPU)

Specification

DACIO 300 MPU Only for use on a DACIO 300 Module or can be used integrated into your own custom hardware.

Works with Raspberry PI as IO expansion (with analog input) or with Arduino expansion (providing enhanced / precision A/D inputs).
You no longer require a Ceramic Resonator with this DACIO 300 IC which makes it easier to get started!

A sample circuit using the DACIO 300 MPU device (based on a programmed PIC16F887) is provided. It is a 40 pin DIL package.

The components and connector names are kept as per the DACIO 300 PCB so that you can use the DACIO 300 manual for the remaining documentation.

Note that TX_OUT is a TTL 232 (5V) output pin i.e. would connect to a 5V TTL 232 receive input onto your circuitry (if PSU/VCC is 5V) or
TX_OUT is a TTL 232 3V compatible output pin i.e. would connect to a 3V TTL 232 receive input onto your circuitry (if PSU/VCC is 3V).

Please note this is not a complete DACIO module, only the DACIO MPU IC shall be supplied. See Item 4130 or 4133 for fully assembled DACIO Module
